Car seat programs through South Country Health Alliance & UCare
Child and Teen Checkups (C&TC) Program
Comprehensive health care for children and teens, birth through age 20, who are enrolled in medical assistance (e.g. MA, South Country Health Alliance (SCHA), Medica) or MinnesotaCare.
Follow Along Program
Computerized developmental screening is offered to children birth to 36 months - no cost to program participants.
Healthy Families Program
A home-based parenting program for expectant women and families with children 0-3 months. Program works with multi-stressed overburdened families of children until they graduate the program with their children, usually when the child reaches 3-5 years of age.
Maternal Child Health Program (MCH)
Offers counseling, nursing services, free pregnancy tests, education for pregnant moms, new moms, babies and chronically ill children.
WIC Program

Provides nutrition education and supplemental foods for pregnant or breastfeeding women and for infants and children up to 5 years of age. Eligibility is based on income and medical need.
Healthy Smiles, Inc.
A contracted dental hygienist provides preventative dental health services for children 14 and younger who are on Medical Assistance or do not have insurance. Hygienist provides oral health education and topical fluoride varnish. Referrals are provided when assessment indicates need.
